When you walk on the path leading to the Willow Pond (Mare aux Saules), you can get a glimpse of my workshop hiding in a former riding school. A sculpted wooden horse head welcomes you.
As you pull the door, remember to lower your head; and the magical smell of leather starts filling up your nostrils. My workshop seeps into your nose, into all your senses and you can hear the birds chirping in the background while Augustin Trapenard’s voice comes in through the radio.
Silent, strange-shaped, sharp, hooked, massive or tiny tools are lined up on the walls, all like proud works of art. In my cozy little workshop, everything is redolent of leather, accuracy, warmth and my love for horses.
